Brittany Mahomes is fully embracing her role as a mom-to-be while supporting her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. With their third child on the way, Brittany made sure to prioritize her cravings and comfort during the Chiefs’ 21-7 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Instead of her usual Chiefs red attire, Brittany went full “bougie chic” on the Cleveland sidelines. She sported a white puffer coat with “Chiefs” emblazoned on the back, wide-leg black pants, and a pair of $975 Prada shearling earmuffs. Her cozy-yet-fashionable ensemble drew plenty of attention as she posted glimpses of her look on her Instagram Stories, complete with a sweet shot of her hugging Patrick before the game.
Brittany captured her “pregnancy vibe” perfectly when she shared a boomerang on her Instagram Story, showing off a delicious ice cream scoop in hand with the football field in the background.
A tale of two QBs
While Brittany was savoring her sweet treat, Patrick Mahomes was busy serving up touchdowns. Though it wasn’t his flashiest performance, Mahomes still managed to throw for two touchdowns before being sidelined with an ankle injury. The injury raised eyebrows, particularly because Andy Reid left him in longer than some fans thought necessary. Given Kansas City’s playoff position, many questioned Reid’s decision to risk Mahomes’ health in a game that seemed well in hand.
On the other side of the ball, it was chaos for the Cleveland Browns. Head coach Kevin Stefanski had seen enough of starting QB Jameis Winston after he threw three interceptions, forcing Stefanski to bench him in favor of Dorian Thompson-Robinson. The QB swap didn’t do much to change the trajectory of the game, and the Browns’ offense continued to sputter. Cleveland now sits at a dismal 3-11 record, while Kansas City continues to dominate with a 13-1 record on the season.
