Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Brittany Mahomes Announces Unfortunate News on Thursday
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs saw their three-game winning streak snapped in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season, falling to 5-4 after a disappointing loss to the Buffalo Bills. Now, coming off their bye week, Mahomes and the Chiefs will look to stay above .500, but they face a tough challenge as they travel to take on the 8-2 Denver Broncos in Week 11.
Away from the NFL, Mahomes has remained busy with his family life. He has been with his high school sweetheart, Brittany Mahomes, since 2012 before getting married three years ago. The couple has three children, two daughters and one son, in Sterling Skye (4), Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III (2) and Golden Raye (10 months).
The Mahomes family owns multiple homes, one in Westlake, Texas, Patrick’s home state, and another in Belton, Missouri, just outside Kansas City, and they have managed to maintain an active social life. But on Thursday, Brittany shared some troubling news involving their neighbors’ friends, Brian and Jen, revealing that their family lost their home in a devastating house fire.
“Hi guys, a friend of ours neighbor just lost their home to a fire!” Brittany Mahomes wrote on her Instagram story. “If you feel inclined to help please do 🙏🏼 A little goes a long way in times like these so anything helps!🤍 thank yall🤍”
A GoFundMe was launched to support the family that, like the Mahomes family, includes three children. The fire began when a s’mores maker ignited while the parents were away, but the kids and the family dog managed to escape in time and sought help from their neighbors.
