Miss USA hopeful Kada Scott’s chilling messages she sent her ‘killer’ hours before being ‘murdered’

BEAUTY contest hopeful Kada Scott chillingly messaged her alleged killer to “kidnap her again”- just hours before her death.

The 23-year-old worked as a care home worker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but mysteriously left her night shift at 10:30pm on October 4 – just 30 minutes after it started.

Her family grew concerned when she wouldn’t return their calls or text messages. Scott’s body was found on October 18, and there was a gunshot wound in her head.

But, cops presume she was killed up to 30 minutes after leaving her workplace. Keon King, 21, has been charged with her murder, but new details focusing on the pair’s previous interactions have come to light.

Days before she disappeared, Scott, who competed in a Miss Pennsylvania USA pageant, received a text message from someone later identified as King.

“Yo Kada this is my number,” King said in the message sent on October 2. Scott didn’t know who the person was before he replied, “Kel.”

Police believe the vehicle was set alight to stop investigations from collecting evidence. Scott’s disappearance sparked a frantic search before her body was found in a woodland.

The 55-acre Awbury Arboretum, located in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, was searched as part of cops probe. Cops found the car that Scott had driven to work in; she had used her mother’s vehicle.

But her belongings were not inside the motor. King surrendered to cops 10 days after Scott vanished and has been hit with a slew of charges.

He has been accused of kidnapping, false imprisonment, stalking, and endangering another person and tampering with evidence. King was charged with murder after cops classified Scott’s death as a homicide.

He was also hit with robbery and theft charges, and has also been accused of abusing a corpse. Meanwhile, Scott’s family said they have been left “shattered” by her death.

“Our hearts are broken beyond measure,” they said. “Kada was deeply loved. Her light, kindness, and beautiful spirit will forever remain in our hearts.”
