THERE is some concern for Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones after he suffered an injury on Sunday.  Jones appeared to hurt his arm during the contest against the Detroit Lions.

During the Kansas City Chiefs’ 30-17 win over the Lions, Jones was forced to the sideline holding his left arm.  Jones’ elbow appeared to get hit by a teammate’s helmet, causing him some discomfort.

The superstar defensive lineman was worked on by trainers, who put a compression sleeve on his left elbow.  Jones appeared to be in a decent amount of pain, as he held his head in his hands with a grimace on his face.

The injury didn’t appear to be too serious, and no word has come from the Chiefs regarding it so far.  However, the injury could have been bothering Jones during the game.  He only registered on tackle during the game and one quarterback hit.

Jones had no sacks and no tackles for loss.  Still, the Chiefs defense did elite work to hold a potent Lions offense to just 17 points.

Even with the win, many fans were concerned for the health of Jones.  “Did we hear what happened to Chris Jones?” one fan said.  “Where is Chris Jones?” another fan said.

“Chris jones we need you to be ok,” a third fan said.  “Sorry I don’t even see how Chris Jones got injured on that play?” a fourth fan said.  “Chris Jones always hurt man,” a fifth fan said.  It hasn’t been the best season for Jones this year.  Through six games he has just one sack and four tackles.  He has yet to force a fumble.
