Andy Reid shows true feelings towards Travis Kelce as fans spot moment after Chiefs stars’ terrifying fall on his head

ANDY Reid and Travis Kelce shared a sweet moment on the sidelines during the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest game.
Kelce took a scary fall during the game, and his coach was there to comfort him. During the Chiefs‘ win over the Detroit Lions, Kelce caught a pass from Patrick Mahomes.
After pulling in the pass, Kelce turned and dove for the end zone. However, he leapt over a defender, stopping him in his path and flipping him over.
The contact saw Kelce drop straight on his head. It was a scary fall, as it saw Kelce’s neck compress in an unnatural way. Fortunately, he was able to get up from the fall and finish the drive.
However, before the drive ended, the Lions called a timeout which gave Kelce time to catch his breath. At that time, Reid came over to check up on him.
Reid leaned in and gave Kelce a pat on the back of the head and a few words of encouragement. He then sent Kelce out to close out the red zone drive.
Fans loved this interaction and shared their thoughts about it on social media. “Travis’s relationship with Reid is unique,” one fan said.
“That’s the behavior of adopted father/son,” another fan said. “Why is this so sweet,” a third fan said.
“This is the moment I was looking for. The media won’t show this though. Travis is like Andy’s son & vice versa,” a fourth fan said. “I love their relationship. Atta boy Trav,” a fifth fan said.
Kelce has played in all six Chiefs games this season, logging 28 receptions for 321 yards and two touchdowns. He is on pace to bounce back from a rough 2024 with a projected 909 yards and five touchdowns this year.
