Brittany Mahomes mocks Terrion Arnold after he tries to intimidate Patrick Mahomes and ends up badly

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, had a playful response ready for Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold after his pregame jab fell flat.
Her social media post came shortly after the Chiefs’ decisive 30-17 win at Arrowhead Stadium and came in the wake of Arnold sharing a meme online depicting WWE legend The Undertaker sneaking up behind an unsuspecting Patrick Mahomes.
The image was meant to hint that Detroit’s defense planned to give the three-time Super Bowl MVP a long night on the field, but the Chiefs’ performance told a very different story.
Patrick led Kansas City to victory, completing 22 of 30 passes for 257 yards and four total touchdowns, and he avoided interceptions entirely – showing once again why he remains one of the NFL’s most composed quarterbacks.
Following the win, Brittany took to Instagram to repost Arnold’s meme – this time as a gentle reminder of how the night actually ended, with a subtle but sizeable response that quickly caught attention across social media.
The Lions struggled to contain the Chiefs’ rhythm on both sides of the ball, as Kansas City’s offense executed efficiently while their defense disrupted Jared Goff’s passing lanes, limiting the Lions to just 17 points.
Some fans questioned the officiating after Kansas City went through the entire game without a single accepted penalty – although conspiracies of the NFL backing the Chiefs are far from new.
Detroit, on the other hand, was flagged four times for 38 yards, including one offside call they later declined. Yet despite the officiating debate, Lions head coach Dan Campbell focused on his team’s shortcomings.
“We just didn’t make the plays we needed to make,” Campbell admitted postgame. “We were able to do some good things in times but not enough for a team like that with the pedigrees they have.
“We were not able to compliment each other and we were not able to make it a game, really. We weren’t.”
Who do the Kansas City Chiefs play next? Date and time to watch Rashee Rice’s return
The Chiefs, now 3-3 on the season, bounced back from a narrow Week 5 loss to the Jaguars. The victory served as a reminder of Kansas City’s resilience and Mahomes’ ability to regain form even under heightened pressure.
Next, the Chiefs turn their attention to a key AFC West matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. The contest, set for Sunday, October 19 at Allegiant Stadium, could mark the return of wide receiver Rashee Rice.
The 25-year-old Super Bowl champion has been sidelined due to suspension for his role in a car crash in Dallas and was the team’s WR1 in the early 2024/25 NFL season before suffering injury.
Rice’s comeback would provide Mahomes with another dynamic target, enhancing the Chiefs’ evolving offensive strategy as the team regains confidence and cohesion.
