Eagles QB Jalen Hurts’ Clear Message on Wife Bry Burrows

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is undoubtedly one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today. After arriving in Philly as a second-round pick back in 2020, he has quickly established himself as a reliable signal-caller.  Ever since he became the Eagles’ full-time QB1 in 2021, he has led the team to the playoffs each year, eventually winning the Super Bowl last season against the Kansas City Chiefs.

This 2025 season, Hurts has powered the Eagles to a 4-1 start to lead the NFC East division.  Amid his successful pro career, though, there has been one person who has constantly supported him: his wife and longtime partner Bry Burrows.  In an interview before Super Bowl LIX, Hurts sent a message to Burrows, calling her his “rock,” per Us Weekly.  “To Bry, the Mrs., thank you for the support, thank you for the love,” Hurts said, though he and Burrows weren’t married yet at the time. “And thank you for being the rock that I can lean on.”

Hurts and Burrows both attended the University of Alabama and are believed to have met there between 2016 and 2018 when the quarterback was playing for the Crimson Tide. Hurts transferred to Oklahoma in 2019.  The two had an on-and-off romance, but they were able to get through the challenges of their relationship. After keeping their dating life private for years, the two went public when Burrows was seen celebrating with Hurts on the field following the Eagles’ 2023 NFC championship win.

Hurts and Burrows reportedly got engaged in 2024 and got married this 2025, just after the Eagles won the Super Bowl. The Eagles star confirmed the news in an interview in April.  Two months after Hurts revealed their wedding, he and Burrows had a larger ceremony in Napa Valley, California. The celebration of their union lasted four days.  While Hurts and Burrows only got married this year, the two-time Pro Bowler has said in a past interview that he “knew a long time ago” that Burrows was the one for him.  “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now,” Hurts told Essence in 2023.
