Angel Reese has turned her attention to other aspects of her life after being eliminated from playoff contention for the second consecutive year with the Chicago Sky (10-34).

The 23-year-old forward finished her season averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, but she continues to train and shared a strong message with her fans.

Reese sends a powerful message
The two-time All-Star continues to succeed in other aspects of her life, such as her acting debut in “A House of Dynamite” and her collaboration with the sports brands Reebok and Juicy Couture.

After sharing some photos and videos of the latter partnership, Angel also posted a photo from a gym. In it, you can see machines and weights, but she is not the protagonist in this photograph as usual, but rather a phrase taken from Proverbs 3:6, which was written on one of the walls of the establishment.

“In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success,” reads the biblical quote.

The truth is that, during this offseason, Reese will not only take advantage of the opportunity to rest from an intense season in which she played 30 games with Sky after missing some due to a persistent back injury, but she also has several plans.

Angel will have to wait until May to play her third year in the league, although it is still unclear whether she will remain with the team after stating that she could leave if it does not sign more talent in the future.

However, after her participation in Kathryn Bigelow’s film, the Sky star said she will hire an acting coach to continue developing this aspect of her career. In addition, she continues to record her podcast “Unapologetically Angel,” where she recently revealed that her next guest will be journalist and sports broadcaster Taylor Rooks.

On the other hand, Reese has not yet confirmed her participation in Unrivaled Basketball, the league co-founded in 2023 by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart , in which she participated in its debut season. In total, 46 of the 48 players who will be present have already been revealed, but her name does not appear on the list. Will she be one of the two players yet to be announced?
