Angel Reese watched as Kelsey Mitchell and the Indiana Fever fell to A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces 84-72 in Game 3 of the 2025 WNBA semifinals. Led by Jackie Young’s 25 points, the Aces took a 2-1 series lead and reclaimed home-court advantage after dropping Game 1.  For a second straight year, Reese saw her Chicago Sky miss out on the playoffs, ending the regular season with a 10-34 record, tied for the worst in the WNBA with the Dallas Wings. And the former LSU Tigers star wasn’t pleased with the Sky’s play this season, requesting major changes from the organization as she seeks a championship.

Still, Reese made sure to tune in on a postseason-packed Friday night. As Fever vs. Aces Game 3 wound down and Game 3 between the Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury tipped off, she took to social media to share her relaxing night of WNBA playoff basketball.  Included in her Instagram story was a quote from QTies: “Showering & getting in bed is literally one of the best combos.”  “CURRENTLY RUBBING MY FEET TOGETHER WATCHING THE PLAYOFFS,” Reese captioned her story, with a melting face emoji.

Despite Reese being absent for the playoffs for a second consecutive year, she still remains one of the top players in the WNBA. Earning her second All-Star nod, Reese averaged career highs of 14.7 points on 45.8% shooting and 3.7 assists while grabbing 12.6 rebounds per game.  The Fever and Aces will stay in Indianapolis for Game 4 on Sunday afternoon, with Indiana looking to keep its season alive. The Lynx and Mercury series was also tied at one game apiece.
