Eagles’ Staffer ‘Big Dom’ Hit With Massive Fine by NFL

His actions didn’t sit right with Greenlaw, who pushed DiSandro away with a closed fist, prompting himself and the Eagles’ chief of security both to be ejected.
Dre Greenlaw was called for a personal foul after this interaction with Eagles security staffer Dom DiSandro. Both were ejected from the game.

DiSandro was the talk of social media almost immediately after being escorted to the locker room, and he became a viral sensation in the days after the incident. DiSandro found himself in the news again for, again, getting on the bad side of the NFL’s league office.
Per Philadelphia-area reporter Derrick Gunn, DiSandro was hit with a hefty fine by the NFL for a league violation during the Eagles’ final preseason game against the New York Jets on Aug. 22.
“According to league source eagles head of security/coach Dom DiSandro was fined 75 thou this past week for texting from the bench area during the Jets preseason game…the team filed an appeal but it was denied,” Gunn wrote on X.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo revealed some more context behind why the team’s appeal was denied. “The #Eagles’ appeal, I’m told, was he had only one foot in the bench area. Apparently five toes was enough. Fine levied,” Garafolo reported.
Considering DiSandro was fined $100,000 and banned from the Eagles’ sideline for the rest of the regular season for his altercation with Greenlaw, some might say the NFL took it easy on him this time.
