Travis Kelce’s Emotional Outburst During Chiefs’ Loss Slammed

Travis Kelce looked frustrated on the sidelines during the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday as he slammed his helmet on the ground.
His frustration stemmed from a play in which he dropped a pass from teammate Patrick Mahomes, prompting fans to express displeasure and roast him on social media.
Travis Kelce, whose popstar fiancée Taylor Swift made a low-key appearance at the stadium to cheer her man on, recently revealed how “rattled” he got when proposing to her.
Travis Kelce Slams Helmet As Chiefs Lose To The Eagles Again. Kelce had to let off some steam during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 20-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
In a now-viral social media clip, the Chiefs’ tight end was visibly frustrated on the sidelines and slammed his helmet just before halftime as his team led 10-7.
According to the New York Post, the outburst then saw the usually composed football star mouth the words “I’m sick of this sh-t,” although it remains unclear what he was referring to.
The podcast host and his teammates have been struggling to find their footing after a disappointing 0-2 start to the season. Back in February, they faced the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl showdown but lost that game 40-22 and were denied the opportunity to make a record three straight Super Bowl wins.

Kelce’s momentary burst of anger continued on Sunday as he made a costly drop in the fourth quarter that got punished by the Eagles on the following possession, leading to a comfortable 20-10 lead. The 35-year-old Super Bowl winner mishandled a pass from Patrick Mahomes that was intercepted by Eagles safety Andrew Mukuba.
Kelce was very unhappy with himself and was seen pacing on the sidelines, although Mahomes took responsibility for it, saying he threw the ball “a tad too early.” “We got the defense that we wanted,” Mahomes said, per the New York Post. “We expected them to play that [Cover] zero, zero with the hole player, the safety. I just threw it a tad too early. Just trying to put it on his body low before that hole player got there. I think if I can put it more on his body, and not so far out in front of him, then he can catch it, take the hit, and get in the end zone.”
Fans React To Travis Kelce’s Emotional Outburst Following Kelce’s outburst and the Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles, several fans took to social media to slam him for his performance.
Although he had caught 4 out of 6 passes thrown to him for a total of 61 yards, which is quite a strong performance, his dropped pass became the talking point for fans on social media.
An X user wrote, “Watch Trav give up on the play after he dropped it. Meanwhile, our rookie LT goes balls out chasing down the picker and cutting him down. If Trav put THAT kind of effort in this game, Chiefs win.”
Another added, “(KC fan since born in ’04, me). I’ve come to terms that he’s washed, and it started last year. Honestly, give him maybe one more year, then he’s done.” A third user said, “He needs to stop acting so lame. He has a strop when he cannot get his own way. Travis sucks.”
