• How it happened: Robinson’s father became convinced the 22-year-old was the shooter after seeing photos shared by authorities and confronted him, a law enforcement source told CNN. The suspect initially balked at surrendering, but then was persuaded to talk to a pastor who works with law enforcement agencies, the source said.
