There’s a social media post that’s gone viral on multiple platforms involving Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts and Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in Utah on Wednesday.

It says that Jefferson and other NFL stars “immediately stepped in, pledging to pay all living and educational expenses for Kirk’s two children.” Is that true? Did Jefferson and his colleagues really do that?

As far as we can tell from Jefferson, other NFL star’s social media and any other lack of reporting on this, no, that doesn’t seem to be the case. It could be a false posting that’s gone viral. If that somehow isn’t the case, we’ll update this post.
