Travis Kelce embarrasses Patrick Mahomes in front of Brazil crowd: “He had that one coming”

Revenge is on the docket for the Kansas City Chiefs heading into the 2025 season. After losing handily in Super Bowl LIX, Patrick Mahomes saw as the front office worked to fix holes, while Travis Kelce confirmed his commitment to the team for at least one more season. With this being Kelce’s final season, possibly, the team wants to win it all again for him.
That journey back to the Super Bowl will begin in Sao Paulo, Brazil. On Friday night, the Chiefs will face the Los Angeles Chargers in a division game in another country. Mahomes, Kelce and co. arrived for the game on Wednesday night. A day later, they were already taking questions from the media. That led to a funny moment where Kelce got some revenge on Mahomes.
Travis Kelce brings out “Kermit” voice to get revenge on Patrick Mahomes in Brazil
Kelce was asked what the team’s arrival to Brazil was like, and he decided to mock Mahomes’ unique voice to answer: “Aw man, it was crazy. It was a lot of fun seeing all the fans there”. Mahomes, who was right beside him, told him to “chill out” and stop using the voice.
Kelce then explained why he decided to make fun of Mahomes: “He had that one coming for telling everybody I didn’t know where Brazil was on the map”. Mahomes couldn’t help but laugh, and everyone in attendance couldn’t either. It was a hilarious moment between two great friends and teammates.

It was another show of the chemistry that Mahomes and Kelce have cultivated together throughout their careers. They feel comfortable enough around each other to crack jokes, even in front of the public. Now, they will look to carry over that chemistry onto the field for 2025.
