Patrick Mahomes Sends Inspiring Message About Wife Brittany Mahomes Ahead of NFL Season originally appeared on Athlon Sports.  Three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Patrick Mahomes is entering his ninth NFL season in 2025. While he’s enjoyed his offseason away from the game, things are beginning to ramp up in Kansas City and across the league.

Before the season grind kicks in, Mahomes sat down for an exclusive interview with “PEOPLE” as part of his latest business endeavor—becoming the new face of “Invisalign.” Amid the discussion, Mahomes opened up about confidence and didn’t hesitate to highlight his wife, Brittany, as his biggest inspiration in that area. He praised her, saying she “pushes me to be better every day.”

“I admire my wife Brittany’s confidence,” Mahomes said. “Whether it’s in business, or supporting our family, she always leads with strength and purpose. That kind of confidence is powerful; it pushes me to be better every day.”

“Confidence isn’t something that you just wake up with one day,” Mahomes told PEOPLE. “It’s about staying committed to your goals, trusting yourself and the people around you and putting your best foot forward with every opportunity you get.”

Brittany has been with Patrick every step of the way. The power couple are high school sweethearts from Texas and have been married since March 12, 2022. They currently have three children together—two daughters and a son.  Mahomes has seen immense success since being drafted out of Texas Tech by the Chiefs. He has quickly become the face of the NFL and, through nine seasons, is well on track—if not already considered—one of the all-time greats at the quarterback position.

That said, Kansas City seems hungrier than ever after suffering a dominant loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX this past February. Brittany and Patrick’s family were in attendance, as they are for nearly every game, to cheer him on.
