Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s teammate shows off his $127,405 Cadillac alongside a huge diamond chain

The Kansas City Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy is showing off the cash earned from his rookie contract at the Arrowhead Stadium as he drops thousands of dollars on a brand new car.  The 22-year-old produced 638 receiving yards for six catches into the end zone in the 2024/25 NFL season, as well as adding an extra 104 yards and three scores from rushing.  He stepped up in the wake of Travis Kelce’s struggles, as well as injuries to the likes of Hollywood Brown, Isiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice to offer Patrick Mahomes a much-needed target as they made it to Super Bowl LIX.

Now enjoying his first offseason as a professional, he’s making sure to splash some cash on a new-look and even a new vehicle as he spends some of his $3.5 million dollar annual salary.  The young footballer was spotted stepping out of his $127,405 Cadillac car wearing a checkered black and white shirt, with a white tank top and black shorts. He accessorized the look with a cap and sunglasses.

But the attention wasn’t on his clothing. It was drawn to the huge diamond chain necklace the Chiefs’ ace was wearing, catching the light perfectly as the paparazzi’s camera flashes fired away to snap up his image.  He also added a flashy watch, along with bracelets and rings too, showing he’s far from impartial to a trip to the jewellery store when he’s in Kansas City or his hometown of Fresno, California.

And he’s earned it. After being selected 28th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft by Andy Reid’s team, the first-rounder immediately made a sizable contribution to the team’s 15-2 record.  He even caught a touchdown in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles back at the Caesars Superdome on February 9, as they looked to haul themselves back into a game that saw them eventually defeated 40-22.

The Chiefs managed to win the AFC West pennant and went on to become the AFC Conference champions once again, for the third season in a row, but succumbed to Jalen Hurts’ Eagles in the final game of the season.  They’re now on the war path in their bid to regain their status as NFL champions after watching their threepeat die on the field before their very eyes, with both Mahomes and Travis Kelce stepping up their rigorous training.

The pair, and Worthy, will look to showcase what they’ve got to offer to the league on Thursday, September 4 when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil, with the contest played at the Corinthians Arena.  The contest in South America can be followed live on YouTube from 20:00 ET/17:00 PT, hours after the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Kick Off Game.
