Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, just “hard launched” her romance with Derek Green, the youngest son of former Chiefs quarterback and Super Bowl champ Trent Green-and fans are calling it the most glamorous gridiron love story since Taylor and Travis.
While Swift and Kelce have dominated headlines since going public in October 2023, Gracie and Derek are now turning just as many heads. In a sun-drenched Instagram carousel, the 26-year-old NFL heiress shared cozy vacation snaps with Green, including poolside smiles and even a juice shot toast. The caption? A telling: “My heart is full.”

A slow-burning romance
Rumors had swirled for weeks after Gracie posted a cryptic Instagram Story showing her embracing a mystery man at Arrowhead Stadium, writing, “After meeting 7.5 years ago in this place… all along there was some invisible string.” That invisible string just snapped into place-confirming Derek Green as the man behind the scenes.
Derek, a former college quarterback at SMU and Long Island University, now works in sports operations in Kansas City. And like Gracie, he’s got deep football roots-his dad, Trent Green, threw for over 21,000 yards during six seasons with the Chiefs and earned a Super Bowl ring with the Rams in 2000. Their relationship made its first semi-public appearance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April, but fans didn’t get full confirmation until now.
