Jennifer Lopez requires stitches as she suffers horror facial injury and black eye in American Music Awards rehearsals

Jennifer Lopez shared photos of a facial injury she suffered during an awards show rehearsal.  Lopez shared the photos to her Instagram story, according to TMZ and Fox News. The first photo shows her with an ice pack on one of her eyes.Lopez followed that selfie up with one showing her face with a noticeable injury. She revealed that she had suffered the injury during a rehearsal for the American Music Awards, which she is hosting. The photo shows her with a cut on her nose and a discolored eye, according to the photos published by Fox News.

The Instagram story was no longer visible later in the day on May 14.According to TMZ, the injury was “serious enough to require stitches.”  It’s not exactly clear how Lopez, 55, suffered the injury, though.

Lopez also shared a third photo of her doctor, Jason Diamond. “Thank you for stitching me up Dr. Diamond. A week later and a whole lotta ice, I’m good as new,” she wrote with that photo, which shows her standing with the doctor without any obvious injury.

Lopez looked injury-free in a photo she posted to her Instagram page for Mother’s Day. “A most beautiful Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there 🌸 Wishing everyone love, laughter, peace, joy and happiness 🌻,” she wrote.That photo showed her wearing a straw hat. On the table were a series of floral bouquets. On May 5, she shared a photo showing her in workout gear.
